Just tried AK's for the first time, I thought it was smackin. I got 2 pastrami sando's, 1 with a French roll and 1 on Dutch crunch. Hella good. I also got some crab cakes for later. I heated them up with some butter, smackin. Nice people working in there, cool little local spot. Hella good. Boom.

Great sandwiches and on top of the world service. I now understand why people rave about this place. Great food. Great service. I had their pastrami sandwich, tons of flavor but unfortunately It was a little too wet for me because the sandwich bread was so soggy at the end. I might order a deconstructed sandwich so I can assemble it when I want to eat it so the bread does not get soggy. I had bought a sandwich and they asked me if I wanted mustard and mayo and I said yes. I let my toddler have a bite but found out he doesn't like mustard and mayo and so I went back inside to purchase another bread. They remembered that I had just bought a sandwich and asked me if there was anything wrong. I told them that I just wanted to purchase another bread sandwich that my toddler can have some of the bread. They were so kind. They gave me a whole piece of sandwich bread for free!! Would absolutely be back to grab another pastrami sandwich and I would love to try some of their crab cakes which I hear they make in house.

I believe this deli is family run and it's definitely a hidden gem hole in the wall vibe. We picked up one turkey and one pastrami and both were so good!! Also the potato salad fucks the bread was also good I will be back and I will be going here instead of Lou's or other sandwich places from now on.

I've returned to update my review, as honesty is one of the pillars of my life. I have since switched my bread choice to the french roll. The pro move is to add the trio. If you like onions, pickles, and peppers - that is what you have to do. No other option, as failure can not be an option. I often wonder if the staff's personality enhances the flavor of the sandwich? I wonder this because they are great, and the sandos are also great. AK Meats 4 lyfe.
